For us, bark regeneration studies are vital when harvesting from trees, so that we don’t over-harvest individual trees, giving them time to regenerate and rejuvenate themselves.

Nature has an amazing ability to regrow and regenerate – but for this to happen properly, she needs time. That’s exactly what we’re giving her with our bark regeneration studies: we’re harvesting one year, recording the date of the harvest and coming back each year to monitor how successfully the bark is regenerating.
