What are food supplements?

Food supplements have been around for eons. You can go back to the ancient Vedic texts written around 2,000 BC, or the medical papyri of the ancient Egyptian culture to find many recorded examples of our early ancestors using concentrated nutrients. Whether it was herbs or tree resins, or minerals from plants or seaweeds, the benefits of concentrating nutrients has always been known.
